Op Shop Volunteering

Where To Donate
All donations are sorted and distributed through our Blair Athol shop (307 Prospect Road), Elcies Norwood (43-45 The Parade), Elcies Tanunda (Shop 4, 46 Murray Street) and our Nuriootpa Office (26 Second Street).
However, if you are unable to donate directly to the above locations, we also have collection skips located at:
- Concordia College, Highgate
- Blackwood Lutheran Church, Blackwood
- Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Para Vista
- Glynde Lutheran Church, Glynde
Op Shop Donations Guide
Each year our volunteers sort, pack and move thousands of bags of clothing and bric-a-brac items. The process of receiving, sorting, packing, pricing and displaying does take time and unfortunately we are not able to accept some items.
Please ensure all items are in good, usable condition.
Donations we can accept
- Clothing of all sizes for men, women and children which are clean and presentable
- Children's toys which are clean and unbroken
- Dinnerware and crockery which is presentable and unbroken
- Clean shoes
- Unbroken picture frames
- Jewellery
- Hats, scarves, belts and ties
- Clean linen (bed sheets, pillow cases, curtains)
- Crystal/vases/teapots/glasses
- Handbags
Donations we cannot accept
- Specific school uniforms for children
- Televisions, computer monitors and printers
- Broken, incomplete or unclean children's toys
- VHS cassettes or cassette players
- Old magazines and used stationery (including old personal diaries and calendars)
- Used art/craft supplies (e.g. opened paint kits, new is fine)
- Illegitimate DVDs, computer games or audio CDs - it is against the law in Australia to retail unofficial copies e.g. 'burnt CDs'
- Any type of restraint baby items (e.g. high chairs, cots, bouncers)
