LCC NT are looking for a Case Worker, case management or social work background preferred, to work in our wonderful IFSS team.
The Intensive Family Support Services (IFSS) program is funded by the Department of Social Services to reduce child neglect by increasing the capacity of families, parents and caregivers. They are encouraged to make changes to appropriately support their child’s safety, development and wellbeing.
The aims and objectives of this role are to:
- provide a professional case management service for IFSS family referrals
- work in a collaborative partnership with the Family Support Workers and contribute to an effective, collaborative team at Ntaria
- communicate and develop respectful relationships with families, the community and relevant stake holders
- implement the IFFS program according to the guidelines to improve the safety and wellbeing of children
The Case Worker position is based at Ntaria (situated 130kms from Alice Springs) and accommodation may be negotiated. Any offer of employment is dependent upon a current and satisfactory National Police Certificate and NT Ochre Card (youth). A current and unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence is also essential.
