Our Peachey Place Living Skills Centre was launched in December 2011 through a partnership with Housing SA, The Burundian Association and the City of Playford.

We welcome the community within the Playford Council area to develop their skills and knowledge in a range of free or low cost workships and learning experiences.

Find out more in the video below:

The focus of Peachey Place is to build on the strengths of individuals, families and the local community while giving everyone access to information and services that can improve their quality of life.

Develop new skills in:

  • Budgeting
  • Finance
  • Health and Well being
  • Cooking
  • Literacy
  • Gardening
  • Life Skills
  • Clutter Management
  • Home Maintenance
  • Applying for a school card
  • Preparing your child for school
  • Home Ownership information sessions

With the help of our volunteers we have developed a thriving Community Garden which provides food for use in our Cooking Classes. We are also in the process of creating a Tool Library that will be open to those in the community.
