Families who find themselves in circumstances that may lead to homelessness are able to contact our Early Intervention Workers who are available to support the family.

We provide practical assistance, advocacy and advice and other appropriate supportsto help the family maintain and sustain their current housing and stop them entering the homelessness cycle.

The Early Intervention team can not provide housing to families but can provide mediation and advocacy with landlords and the Residential Tenancies Tribunal on behalf of the family at risk.

If a family becomes homeless they are then required to go through the appropriate channels to obtain support as a homeless family.
