Reception and Administrative Assistance

Based at Davoren Park

The Peachey Place Living Skills Centre is seeking a volunteer to assist with reception and administrative duties at our vibrant community hub. The ability to carry out routine clerical tasks in a busy office and interact with a wide variety of staff, volunteers and members of the public is needed.

Quick and Easy Cooking Class

Based at Blair Athol

We are in need of passionate volunteers who can assist participants in cooking a basic meal. A recipe will be provided. Classes are held on Mondays between 10.30am-1.00pm once a month.

Mobile Crèche Service Volunteers

Based at Ingle Farm

We are in need of dedicated volunteers who love to care for and interact with children aged newborn to 5 years old. Crèche workers provide care for children whose parents attend craft groups, mental health support groups, parenting classes and social groups at Ingle Farm and surrounding suburbs. If you can spare 2-3 hours a week, we would love to hear from you.

Home Visiting Volunteers

Based at Ingle Farm

Home Visiting volunteers provide in home support to new families and parents/carers of children aged newborn to 12 years old in Ingle Farm and surrounding suburbs. If you can spare 2-3 hours a week, we would love to hear from you.

Youth Mentors

Located in the Barossa Valley only

We are seeking volunteers to work with disengaged young people within a mentoring role. Mentors must have a sense of dedication to the wellbeing of youth and a passion to make a difference. We are seeking mentors with specific skills to work with young people.

We specialise, but are not limited, in working with young people in the following fields:

  • Music/Art
  • Martial Arts
  • Cooking
  • Woodwork
  • Metalwork
  • Mechanics
  • Viticulture
  • Computing

Op Shop Volunteers

Located at Blair Athol or Smithfield Plains

We need dedicated volunteers who love helping others to work in two of our Op Shops, located at Blair Athol and Smithfield Plains. Our Op Shop volunteers assist with many duties - collecting and sorting donated goods, pricing goods, and assisting at the front counter among many other tasks.
