Disability Services House Supervisor (Client Services Assistants)

Permanent, negotiable hours, available over 7 day roster

Lutheran Disability Services provides supported accommodation services to adults with an intellectual disability, assisting them to live independent and fulfilled lives.

We are currently seeking highly motivated staff to fill the role of Disability Services House Supervisor. You will be responsible for the oversight of daily activities within a location/house and a small team, as well as providing direct support to the people within your responsibility.  

This includes active promotion of resident's participation in household and community roles, choice in all aspects of decision-making that affects them, dignity and respect in all aspects of their lives, relationship building with other people and skills development to create achievement and build independence. 

The following are essential:

  • Own personal car
  • Driver's Licence
  • Minimum one year's experience working in the disability support field
  • First Aid Certificate (required before commencing first shift)
  • Minimum Certificate III with a commitment to undertake a Certificate IV in Disability Services (equivalent or higher) within six months of commencing.

Two positions are available within the West Lakes and Hillcrest areas. The role is a permanent position with hours being negotiable, but does require availability over a 7 day roster with occasional sleepovers involved.
